For plant operators

Turn biogenic CO₂
into new revenue.

Transform your emissions into high-value negative emissions. Your process already separates carbon that biomass took out of the atmosphere. Stored permanently underground, that carbon becomes a removal — and a revenue line for your site.

The market opportunity

Demand for carbon removal
is being written into law.

Meeting the Paris Agreement goals requires more than just reducing emissions — the world must actively remove CO₂ from the atmosphere. That requirement is moving out of voluntary pledges and into corporate standards and EU legislation.

Companies with net-zero targets need verified removals for the share of emissions they cannot eliminate. Permanent, geologically stored removals sit at the demanding end of that requirement — and that is the category your plant can supply.

Your starting position

Not all carbon capture
is created equal.

The power of biogenic carbon

Because your facility — biogas plant, biomethane upgrader, wastewater treatment, or pulp & paper mill — processes biomass, capturing and permanently storing your CO₂ actively lowers the concentration of carbon in the atmosphere. This creates a genuine negative emission — the category permanent removal standards require.

Efficiency matters

While Direct Air Carbon Capture and Storage (DACCS) extracts CO₂ from ambient air, your facility offers a concentrated point source. Capturing CO₂ directly from your process stream is far more energy-efficient and cost-effective — making the business case significantly stronger.

Eligible facilities

Which facilities
qualify as CO₂ sources?

Biogas & biomethane

Upgrading plants with a concentrated biogenic CO₂ off-gas stream

Wastewater treatment

Municipal and industrial plants with biological treatment stages

Pulp & paper

Recovery boiler, lime kiln and biomass boiler flue gas

Fermentation

Breweries, bioethanol and other fermentation-based processes

Our offer

One partner
for the whole chain.

We bridge the gap between your facility and the carbon market — providing a comprehensive, end-to-end business model so you can focus on your core operations.

1

Integration

Through a dedicated project company, we arrange everything from the design and construction of the capture unit to seamless integration into your existing plant.

2

Value chain management

Transport, geological storage and certification are contracted and managed for you. You hand over liquid CO₂ at the gate — everything downstream sits with the project.

3

Monetisation

You are paid for what you supply: CO₂, steam, power, site area and personnel, under the supply and utilities agreement. blaukos markets the Carbon Removal Units (CRUs).
