Email: office@blaukos.com
2. Collection of Server Log Files
The provider of this website (e.g., Hostinger) automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These are:
- IP address
- Browser type and browser version
- Operating system used
- Time of the server request
The processing is carried out in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR based on our legitimate interest in ensuring the stability and technical security of our website.
3. No cookies, no tracking, no profiling
This website does not set cookies, does not use local or session storage, and does not run any analytics, tracking or advertising services. Because nothing is stored on or read from your device beyond what is strictly necessary to deliver the pages, no consent banner is required under Section 165 of the Austrian Telecommunications Act (TKG 2021) or Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive.
All fonts are served from our own server. No connection is made to Google Fonts or any other third-party content delivery network when you open a page, so no data is transmitted to such providers.
We do not carry out profiling and do not use automated decision-making within the meaning of Article 22 GDPR.
4. Contact form
If you use our contact form, we process the name, company, email address and message you provide.
Purpose and legal basis: responding to your enquiry and taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract, under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. Where your enquiry is not aimed at a contract, the processing rests on our legitimate interest in answering it, under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Retention: we keep your enquiry for as long as it takes to deal with it and for any follow-up questions. Where a business relationship results, statutory retention obligations apply. Otherwise we delete the enquiry once it is clear that it will not be pursued further.
Providing your data is neither required by law nor by contract. Without it, however, we cannot respond to your enquiry.
5. Guide request
If you request our free guide, we process the email address you enter in order to send it to you and, where relevant, to follow up on your interest in our services. The legal basis is our legitimate interest under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, and, where you consent to further contact, Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. Consent can be withdrawn at any time with effect for the future.
6. Form processing and transfer to the United States
Both forms are technically processed by Formspree, Inc., 2100 Geng Road, Suite 210, Palo Alto, CA 94303, USA, acting as our processor under Article 28 GDPR. The data you submit is processed on servers in the United States.
The transfer is based on the Standard Contractual Clauses adopted by the European Commission under Article 46(2)(c) GDPR. Please note that United States authorities may, under local law, be able to access data held by providers subject to their jurisdiction, and that legal remedies against such access may be limited.
If you would prefer not to use the form, you can reach us directly at office@blaukos.com.
7. Email correspondence
If you contact us by email, we process the content of your message and the associated metadata for the purpose of handling your enquiry, under Article 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR. Please note that email is not an inherently secure medium; we cannot guarantee the confidentiality of unencrypted messages in transit.
8. Recipients
We do not sell personal data and do not pass it on for advertising purposes. Data is disclosed only to the processors named in this policy, and to public authorities or professional advisers where we are legally obliged or entitled to do so.
9. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- access your personal data (Article 15)
- have inaccurate data rectified (Article 16)
- have data erased (Article 17)
- restrict processing (Article 18)
- data portability (Article 20)
- object to processing based on legitimate interests (Article 21)
- withdraw consent at any time, with effect for the future (Article 7(3))
To exercise any of these rights, write to office@blaukos.com.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In Austria this is the Data Protection Authority, Barichgasse 40–42, 1030 Vienna — dsb.gv.at.
10. Changes to this policy
We update this policy when our website or the applicable legal framework changes. The version in force is the one published here, with the date shown at the top of the page.
